    Kenya Unveils 2024 Academic Calendar for Schools

    The Ministry of Education in Kenya has released the 2024 academic calendar for pre-primary, primary, and secondary schools, and teachers’ training colleges.

    Th 2024 Academic Calendar term will begin on January 8 and end on April 5, with a half-term break from February 29 to March 3.

    The second term will commence on April 29 and conclude on August 2, with a half-term break from June 20-23.

    The final term will run from August 26 to October 25.

    The Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) and Kenya Intermediate Level Education Assessment (KILEA) examinations are scheduled for October 28-31, followed by the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams from November 4-22.

    The teachers’ training colleges will follow a similar schedule, with the final term ending on November 8.
